Merricks Capital is pleased to partner with Cherry Creek Estate after recently funding the acquisition and development of a neighbouring avocado orchard.

Cherry Creek Estate is an avocado producer based in Blackbutt, southern Queensland, with operations now spanning across 674ha and over 40,000 avocado trees.

This investment displays our team’s deep domain expertise, which enabled them to scrutinise and ultimately confirm conservative orchard valuation and forecast cash flow assumptions. Cherry Creek Estate is able to command a premium price for their avocados (due to their geographical location, mix of varieties and vertical integration), underpinning the investment despite sector pressures in recent times.
