To help commemorate ANZAC Day, Adrian Redlich speaks to Anthony “Harry” Moffitt. Harry served with the Australian Defence Force for almost 30 years, most of which was spent as a team commander and specialist with Australia’s elite Special Air Service (SAS) Regiment.

Today, Harry is the Managing Director at Stotan Group & APAC Director at the Mission Critical Team Institute.

Harry talks to Adrian about his background, including joining the army in 1986. He also talks about retraining as a psychologist and forming Stotan Group.

Harry and Adrian discuss their friendship and how Harry came to work with the high-performing team at Merricks Capital. They talk specifically about how Harry helped the team maintain peak performance during the pandemic and their rockstar status.

Harry’s philosophy during these VUCA times is to be like the SAS, be prepared for many possibilities, and not focus on the outcomes or threats.

Harry Moffitt is a registered, practising psychologist focusing on individual, team, and organisational performance. A former SAS Team Commander with nearly 30 years of experience, he is the Managing Director of Stotan Group – a high-performance research and consulting group that works globally with elite teams across sports, mission-critical teams, and corporate teams. He is also a partner at the internationally renowned Mission Critical Teams Institute.

Harry completed his time with the SAS as its inaugural Director of High-Performance. He founded and developed the first-of-its-kind, multi-million-dollar SAS Wanderers Education Program.
