Lynda Cheng has been an independent non-executive member of the JRJJ Board in an advisory capacity since March 2022.
Lynda has more than 28 years of experience as a finance executive including 18 years at Visy Industries/Pratt Holdings and 10 years in investment banking. She has significant commercial and international corporate finance expertise spanning financial services, manufacturing, export finance, infrastructure, technology, healthcare and education.
Ms Cheng is currently Director of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at Visy Industries / Pratt Holdings and has held various other roles in the group including CFO. Ms Cheng’s earlier executive roles included starting as a lawyer at Blake Dawson, before moving into investment banking with JP Morgan in their Melbourne, Sydney, San Francisco, and New York offices.
Ms Cheng is currently a non-executive director of Starpharma Holdings Ltd (ASX:SPL), and previously served as a non-executive director of Export Finance Australia, Wesley College Melbourne, South East Water and was a member of the Australian Government’s International Development Policy Expert Panel.
Lynda holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Commerce degree, majoring in actuarial studies and economics, from the University of Melbourne and is a graduate member of the Australia Institute of Company Directors.
