Large-Scale Farming Operation

• A large scale family farming group required capital to refinance existing facilities, along with funding to acquire a dairy farm which the business was leasing.
• 8,000 hectare broadacre cropping portfolio on the North West Slopes region of NSW.
• 60 head rotary dairy in the New England Region of NSW.

From the site visit and time spent with the borrower, Merricks Capital understood the depth of knowledge and experience he had both in the business’ traditional activity of broadacre cropping as well as in the dairy operations. The business struggled to gain support from mainstream banks to fund the acquisition of the dairy. We assessed these risks and following our due diligence, were able to provide a capital solution to facilitate the acquisition.
