Merricks Capital announces Board and Executive changes

Merricks Capital appoints David Hackett as Chief Executive Officer and key additions to the board and executive management team.

Adrian Redlich, founder and Chief Investment Officer will retain the Executive Chair.

Following a strong year of growth of funds under management, an increase in team members and the opening of a Sydney office, Merricks Capital has commenced an expansion of its executive team, advisory committee and board.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of David Hackett as Chief Executive Officer effective 28 February 2022. David joined Merricks Capital in 2020 as Independent Non-Executive Director and has since been responsible for Chairing the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee together with traditional Director duties. David brings a distinguished c-suite track record to Merricks Capital, most recently holding roles as inaugural Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of MLC Life Insurance and Executive General Manager Insurance for NAB’s wealth management business where he was voted CEO of the Year in 2019.

Adrian will focus his time on strategy, investments, and investors in his role as Executive Chair and Chief Investment Officer. As CEO, David will concentrate on managing business operations.

In addition, to the strategic changes at executive level, we are delighted to announce Lynda Cheng is joining the Board in an independent advisory capacity, effective March 2022. Lynda has over 25 years of experience as a finance executive including more than 15 years at Visy Industries/Pratt Holdings and 10 years in investment banking.
